Polish Feature | Bobbie Premium Nail Creme in Touch of Beige and Pussy Red
Hello!
Today I would like to introduce two nail polishes from a local brand here in the Philippines.
Today I would like to introduce two nail polishes from a local brand here in the Philippines.
I got them just this month.
Please don't mind my ugly hand/nails, and my very bad painting job! Haha.
I was just testing them anyway. >.<
I was just testing them anyway. >.<
These polishes are available in most malls and department stores in PH, but I'm not sure abroad.
I got these two from JMI marketing; a local grocery shop in my city.

Huge Collective Haul | August-September 2014
Hello! Here are some of the stuff I bought a few months ago... I initially wanted to post a July-August haulage but I don't know, I kind of just forgot about this blogging thing-y. I wanted to keep this blog updated especially in terms of recording the things I buy because it's also somehow therapeutic to me. What?! Haha. Yeah, right. I just don't know what to exactly share but I really want to document whatever stuff I am buying so I can compare them in terms of their price, quality/ effectiveness or like that. Whatever. Hehe. Anyway, here are some of the things that I bought last August-September or so (can't remember exactly). I say some because I can't always snap a picture of whatever I buy...my siblings and mom finds it weird for me to take pictures of almost anything other than taking "ID" pictures or just plain selfies. LOL.
Okay, so just a warning this is definitely a photo dump!

LAZADA haul (Yes, I decided to buy from them again!)
Howdy? I am back with another haul from Lazada. If you have read this post, or rather read my post about my first Lazada order, you already know I wasn't very happy with my initial purchase from them. This time, I can say that I am satisfied.
So, what did I bought this time? Here are they:
1. Omi Sewing Machine S1 (Purple) - currently out-of-stock - Php1,199.00 (SALE)
I couldn't find this exact item in their site anymore, but there's a very similar one that's available which is called "Lil Sew." The only difference is actually the brand name!
2. Strip It Hair Removal Sugaring Kit 100g with Aloe Vera Gel - Php289.00
3. Iphone 5 Model Stereo Earphone/Headset (White) - Php188.00 but now it's only Php177.00
I actually ordered another item, but for some reason they cancelled it. I was upset about it because it was really important for me. The item was a Logitech Headset LT H150 (Cloud White). And guess what, after just about two days they relisted the same item. Huh? Maybe they had a problem with the merchant/seller.
I opted for a Cash-On-Delivery payment. Well, it was not delivered by 2GO to our house, so I had to go to their office to get the items. This is the same thing that happened with my last order. If nobody will claim at their office after say 2-3 days, it will be shipped back to Lazada. I guess 2GO Calbayog lacks sufficient number of delivery men. Good thing is that their office is not that far from my place. I can just walk to their office to get my order/s. Cash-On-Pick-up, eh?
As I mentioned in my previous Lazada haul, I really wanted to buy my mom a cheap but useful sewing machine. I was really nervous about the sewing machine I ordered. I was really thinking it might be defective because it was really cheap. But I trusted the reviews on the website, and just bought one... thankfully, it works well. My mom likes it, too. :) She is now using it almost every day. Hehe. Just perfect for small projects.
I also like Strip It! sugaring kit. It's my first time to try cold wax (or any waxing method in general). I am really impressed with the results and happy about the experience. I will have a separate review post on this product, soon.
Then, the earphones. Hmmm, I think this is just an imitation of the iPhone headphones (as the item's name suggest) but surprisingly it works really well on my tablet, so I am happy with it.
All in all, I can say that my second purchase is more satisfying than the first one.
I think that's all. Thanks for reading!
*This is NOT a sponsored post. I bought these items with my own money.*

Haul | June 27, 2014
Hi! I'm back again for another haul from NOVO Jeans and Shirts (NVJS).
Back when I was still in high school I used to visit this store and do "window shopping". Haha. Lots of high schoolers are still doing the same thing these days (at least in my area). Although, there are already lots of competition (Vida Mariz, Centro, et.), many people still go to this place to buy their supplies and whatnot. As people would always say "magpapahagkot kami sa aircon (We'll cool ourselves from the store's AC)."Haha. I am not sure I've translated that correctly. I also remembered that they used to sell food stuff back when I was still in HS, but now not a single food item was on sale. Hmmmm. What happened?
Anyway, these are not all of the items I bought from this store. I'll just be sharing those things I bought for myself. The other items were actually household items and/or cleaning supplies. I will tell you about the other stuff later. :p

Collective Haul | December 30, 2012 - Trinkets & Treasures (my first papemelroti products) and HBC
I thought we now have a branch of Papemelroti here at Robinson's Place Tacloban. Apparently I was wrong, because we don't actually have a branch here, yet. When I visited papemelroti's website again, I found out that there are only two distributor/resellers in our area. No branch, yet. So sad.
I got excited when I saw papemelroti products at the second floor of Robi, but I got a little disappointed as well later on. Why, you ask? Because I've been wanting to buy and try their paper-making kit since I've heard/read about them online. But I wasn't able to buy this at Trinkets & Treasures (the store where I bought my first papemelroti products featured in this post). They told me that they only carry some Papemelroti products, but they don't receive the orders online, and hand them to local buyers. I don't know if you understand what I mean here. But, the point is I have to buy the kit online if I wanted to really try their paper-making kit :-(
Anyway, I ended up buying two products instead of only wanting to buy the paper-making kit! A canvas bag and a handmade paper pad/stationery. I looked up on Papemelroti's website how much these two costs, and of course I got disappointed again. T__T But okay their cute and handmade, so I'll try not to sulk.
![]() |
Papemelroti Canvas Bag for Php229.00 while handmade paper booklet/pad for Php26.00 at Trinkets & Treasures. |
Photo credits from papemelroti's site. |
FYI, the bag is roomy but it doesn't have a closure ( i.e. a zipper or a Velcro snap).
So what I did was to sew a zipper on it! Yes, I am brave..LOL.
![]() |
My instincts were right. I made use of the black zipper from my last Haul :D |
![]() |
Yep, that's me on the right. Sorry I wasn't able to take a proper/full photo to show how this bag looks like when carried around. |
Not exactly the same with what I bought, but this is the closest that I found on their site. |
Well, it's not really that bad because If I ordered these two online, I would still have to pay for the shipping fee anyway.
Again, if you are interested with their products you can order them online here.
Why I bought their products? Simply because I love and support handmade/recycled Filipino-made products.
...
Now, moving on to what I bought from HBC.
![]() |
FYI, HBC is also a Filipino brand. Yay, for being supportive of local brands/products! |
![]() |
San San Nail Polishes in Sunlit Gold (?) and Emerald (?). I'll update their respective names and prices later :p |
![]() |
Hmm reunited with one of my favorite body mist from HBC. Cucumber bliss :) |
![]() |
This is how the soap looks like. I will probably post my review of this soap soon. |
...
That is all!
*I will update this post with other names and prices soon. But I will have to find the receipt first* :p
BTW, I will be posting a DIY skincare post next time.
Please stay tuned for it if you like DIYs on skincare...
I can't believe I haven't posted that skincare tip before! >.<
Thanks for checking this out. See you on my next post!
Happy New Year! >.<

Mini Haul | November 21, 2012 - OMG and Lappa Nail Polishes
Here's a short post on what I bought last Nov. 21, 2012 at Gaisano Capital Tacloban.
![]() | ||
Lappa Pastel nail polish and OMG nail polish |
1. Lappa nail polish, 12ml (Php 29.95). I do not know the exact name I can't read all the writings on it >.< But it's a peachy flesh colored pastel nail polish. There were about 3 or 4 other pastel colors such as pink, yellow and green but I choose this one thinking about how natural this would look on my nails... I was right (swatches will be up soon. I'm quite careful now on putting any polish on my nails because of my present condition..besides laziness also struck me >.<)
2. OMG nail polish by Klik in Mojito, 10ml (Php 18.00). Comes opaque with two coats on my nails. I find this color pretty :) I just don't like it's smell. Smells really chemical as most cheap polishes...but the formula is good enough considering it's price.
..another thing, I wish the store will do something about how they put price labels, especially stickers on their products. It sucks to peel them off! I hate looking at a nail polish bottle with a ruined label, just because of the price sticker tag! >.<
I'm hoping I could buy some more Lappa and OMG polishes soon! Gonna be painting my nails again after 4 or 5 months..hmmm. :)

Haul | Oct. 19, 2012 - Tacloban downtown area
Hi there! I hope you're doing great, smile. There are a couple of drafts just lying inside my draft folder already T^T... I hope I will be able to post them sooner.. Anyway, here's what I got yesterday when I decided to go out to the CSC office, and to actually buy a pen. Haha. Not really bad (consoling my self...)
I first went to thevCSC office for my school assignment this coming Sunday...(I'm taking the CS exam...which I am absolutely scared about right now, because I wasn't able to review for it..really! I need a miracle... No. I must think positive! :p "The only way to pass the test is to take the test!" My motto from five years ago...u.) It didn't take much time, so I went ahead to the downtown area...I miss looking at little cheap trinkets! :p
Allisson Marketing
•Eyelash, fake eyelashes 024 - Php15.00
•Atomizer bottle - Php15.00
•Yoko nail polish (no label so I'll just call this "Yellow #4" because it's colored yellow and the only marking on the bottle aside from the brand name is "4.") - Php10.00
•Max Factor (obviously an imitation/dupe) nail file with cuticle remover tool - Php10.00
578 Emporium
•Lucky nail polish remover with moisturizer - Php6.00
•KMS Cosmetic brush 544 (angled brush) - Php15.00
•Kangmeishu Cosmetic brush 085 (small foundation brush) -Php35.00
I think these brushes are from the same brand/manufacturer...they look similar (packaging and markings)...hehe.
Leyte Paperworld
•Black Faber-Castell ball pen 1419 (S-Fine - 0.5mm) Pastel (mint green?) - Php12.00
Well, I need this for the exam, thankfully I haven't forgotten to buy this one... :p
Hmmm, not that bad for Php118.00 But I was a bit sad because I wasn't able to buy a nail art pen/liner at 578..they already ran out of it T^T
On one hand, I'm happy that I found a good and a very cheap foundation brush (win! Hehe). I saw some compressed facial masks, too! Been looking for them locally (at last.. DIY face masks...hehe). I also saw some cute nail art thingies at 578. I will try them later...I just hope that when I go back at their store, they already have a stock of Lm nail art liners .
So, that's it! (I blah blah blah too much..haha)
Thanks, ingat! :)

Haul | Oct. 3, 2012 - Maryland and 578 Emporium
Hello! Here's a short post about what I bought today. Yay for blogging this on the same day :) I only bought a few items. Most of these are actually needed here at our place, and only two items are for me...
*Again, I'm sorry for being so behind in my scheduled review posts (if you happen to read my previous post about those reviews, and is looking forward to it), I'm really sorry.. I still don't have a laptop replacement, nor my laptop is repaired. Right now, I don't think It'll be repaired honestly. I'm so sad about this...but I still hope I will be able to recover my files in that laptop. Well if I ever have a new one to use, and/or I am able to recover my files, I will surely post it the soonest as possible.
I went out around 3:40PM, and I was able to came back home at 5:42PM. As I said earlier, I didn't buy a lot of things. But it rained so hard I wasn't able to go back earlier...thankfully I'm a true blood girl scout 'cos I always bring my umbrella with me. It always saves me!
~haul proper~
Shop: Maryland
1. Yarn/darning needle, No. 6 - Php 35.00
2. Crochet needle/hook, Tulip brand dual sized 5/7mm, Php 100.00 (I actually wanted 5/6mm but the owner actually gave me the 5/7mm, well anyway, I already have the 5/6mm at home. I left it during vacation thinking that I will be going back sooner...tsk.)
Department store: 578 Emporium
3. A small set of sewing notion/s or meceria? - Php 42.00 (needle set, tape measure, thimble, threader, 4 clear buttons, 12 small threads, and a smal pair of scissors) Again, I already have a set of sewing notion but I left it. Since most us here needs this, I bought this handy one.
4. Johnson's baby powder for prickly heat, 25g - Php 11.45 (I hate this one. I think this is a fake product...the smell is suspicious just as it's cap is somewhat different..it's thin which is different from what we usually buy...tsk, I think I will throw this one out. This is supposed to be for my baby boy :(
5. Mighty Bond Sakto instant glue 1g - Php 4.00 x 2 = 8.00 (I don't have an E600/0 glue for craft work such as sealing friendship bracelets, so I'll use this instead. I hope this will work just as fine...)
6. Beamarish's Royal Bibingka - Php 60.00 (This is a locally-made bibingka from Apitong. What's funny is that it seems/tastes like a chiffon cake rather than what a traditional bibingka is...at least for us here. But it tastes good. As usual, I especially liked the toppings..sweet and creamy because of the cheese :)
Total = Php 256.45
That's all guys. All in all I am happy with these purchases...actually, because I was able to buy what I really wanted: the crochet needle and yarn needle. I wil be able to finish my moblie pouch :). Btw, I finally found where I could buy some felt fabric here at Tacloban...it's around Php 90.00 per yard near Maryland's as well (I forgot the store name). Yay! Hmmm..I'm already thinking of making cute plushies. Thanks for reading! :-)

Mini Haul | Aug. 31, 2012 - Gaisano Capital Tacloban
*Been MIA for too long.. >.< anyway, sorry for the quality of this picture, I'm usinga tablet instead of my laptop 'cos my lappie's DEAD! Huhu.
**I bought only four items, but only three of them will be shown here...

1. Manfei round powder puff (Php 5.95)- an inexpensive one, most probably latex. I ended up giving it to Ena together with my Daiso Everbilena powder foundation.
2. Fine toothed bamboo combed / lice comb (Php 8.75)
- not really happy with this because almost all of it's teeth fallen out at first use..not the same ones that were sold back then..
3. Trikeel character nail file (Php 15.95) - I love this flower print :)
4. Meihao cuticle trimmer with nail file (Php 19.95) - absolutely sucks! The first one I bought is much more useful, sharper and precise than this one. Only the nail file part is useful.
That's all for this post. Thank you! :)

Haul | February 18, 2012 - Cosmetics (local brands)
Yes, this is another long overdue blog post. I bought these makeup last February in preparation for some school activities (extra-curricular), but I wasn't able to attend those events so it's kind of sad :(
Anyhow, I had fun experimenting with these things, so let me show you what I bought that day.
***PICS!***

Haul | March 27, 2012 - Tacloban City DT Area, thrifting, hair products, shoes!, etc.
Hi I went out last Tuesday to buy a couple of things and
to load my GCash wallet but sadly I wasn’t able to accomplish the latter, because
GPS didn’t open that day. Probably it was because of the ugly weather we’ve
just experienced…I really thought there was a typhoon or something, err. Point
is, it ruined my day.
Anyway, going to my haul I purchased (due to some sort of stress due to frustration) I bought a couple of things that I still don’t
know if I should be happy about or what.
First, I bought a cheap purple umbrella for Eric (he asked me
to buy that after he went to work and came back dripping wet >.< LOL I
always tell him to bring an umbrella but he’s too stubborn…). It costs PhP 50
only not bad for a "disposable” but dependable umbrella. I think mine lasted over
a year! Can you believe that? That's why I don't believe that anything cheap is non-quality.
Next I went to an Ukay-Ukay
shop or secondhand/ thrift shop near Rusty Lopez downtown. This is where I went
really nuts!!! >.< I bought a new *bag (yes, it’s new because they also sell brand-new
stuffs like clothes and bags, etc.) in an animal-print design. I think it was a
travelling bag because it’s kind of big and roomy for a baga. I’ll be using this when Kian and I go
home next week. They sell it for around 250 but they claim that its last price
is 180, so of course I made tawad/
haggled! (Last price is actually they’re selling price..Duh! So, always make tawad.)
(* I gave it to mom. She needs it.)
(* I gave it to mom. She needs it.)
I was actually not going to buy a pair of shoes, but
I ended up buying two pairs! wtf! How can anyone like me who’s been dreaming of wearing a good pair of
boots resist a bargain or two?!! When I saw those boots I said to myself I will
not buy them if they feel uncomfortable, but my golly they felt awesome and
they’re exactly my size! Meant to be? Plus although they’re not new, they’re
still fine, well at least for me. The boots costs 200 instead of 280, if I remembered
it right.
I also bought a nice pair of minty green shoes just because
they fit well and the tindero/seller
said they would give it to me for 150 instead of 180. >.< Uwat talaga ako..huhuhuhu.
Lastly after a ride from the jeepney,I stopped by Godsend
grocery to buy some food (‘cos it was early in the afternoon already when I came
back). I bought some puto or red rice
cake to be exact and paired it with VitaMilk. I realized that we ran out of
soap and shampoo so I also bought a bottle of St. Ive’s Aloe Vera Shampoo (I
can’t read the labels, they’re not English), a pack of soap from Palmolive (the
orange one because they have a promo), and then a bottle of Pantene’s Hair
Fall Control Conditioner which has a free Hair Fall Control Intensive Treatment
(a hair mask??) just because I feel like I’m going to get bald from shedding a
lot of hair. Ena said her HHN shampoo is causing it, which I didn’t mind
at first, but later on I became a bit alarmed from the amount of hair fall I get
lately. My hair problem started just this month, and I also think this is
because of the stress I experienced from previous week’s “Hell Week” at school. And
to add to that I am also experiencing dandruff now! :( Is this just because
of hormones or something? Please go away.
In summary, I bought the following stuffs:
- *An animal-print travelling bag – 180
- Thrifted black ankle boots – 200
- Thrifted mint high heels – 150
- Food (red rice cakes+VitaMilk) – 28+23= 51
- Pantene Hair Fall Control Conditioner with a free Hair Fall Control Intensive Treatment – 101
- *St. Ive’s Aloe Vera Shampoo? -125
PICS! (scroll down). I added these late...
Pantene Hair Fall Control Conditioner & Intensive Hair Treatment (hair mask)
Godsend grocery, PhP 101.00
Ms. Kris Aquino as their endorser.
The hair mask is very moisturizing. My hair likes their formulation, but I hate their packaging >.<
I wish they come up with a more fragrant version of these, because at times I get irritated by its fragrance...it's kind of too strong for me. IDK. Yes, it's fragrant, but I prefer a more fruity/ flowery scent. Well, that's just me. >.<
Now, for the shoes!!! (Ukay-ukay/ thrifted)
The first one is a pair of "lace up" ankle boots (each boot has a zipper on it's inner side).
*love*
..the previous owner might have tossed these because it has a small spot of glitter blemish (back of left boot).
The second one is a light blue (?) or blue grey pair of shoes.
Yep, it does looked so used, but I like how my feet looks like in it :)
Only the insole looks bad, the heels are fine (not shown here).
See?!
...Other stuffs...
..a bow clip which later on I decided to give to my younger sis even though I know that she doesn't take good care of my gifts :( Maybe, too young?)
A set of travel essentials like small cream jars, shampoo/ conditioner dispensers? basically for personal care/ toiletries.. this particular kit includes a spatula for taking out some cream on jars, and a small pump, which reminds me of those marker ink refills that comes with the same pump?/ refiller, and a small atomizer for perfume/ cologne, etc.
..the last three items were a small padlock and a key, and two adaptors for my laptop and my phone's charger.
*No pic/s. I gave the bag to my mom, but I'll probably get another one soon. The St. Ive's shampoo was already thrown out >.< we love aloe!
