REVIEW | Human Heart Nature's 100% NATURAL RESCUE BALM (Tea Tree & Lavender)

Last month I have finally got hold of the HHN's rescue balm at Robinson's Supermarket Eastwood, QC.

I bought the 10g jar but I found out that it is also available in 45g

It comes in a generic clear acrylic cream jar with a recyclable carton packaging... nothing special about its packaging.

Polish Feature | Bobbie Premium Nail Creme in Touch of Beige and Pussy Red

Hello!
Today I would like to introduce two nail polishes from a local brand here in the Philippines.
I got them just this month.
Please don't mind my ugly hand/nails, and my very bad painting job! Haha.
I was just testing them anyway. >.<
These polishes are available in most malls and department stores in PH, but I'm not sure abroad.
I got these two from JMI marketing; a local grocery shop in my city.

First Impression Review | ActiveWhite Rose Hips Oil

I went to a drugstore and remembered to ask the pharmacist about rose hip oil. She told me that they only have this brand. I got curious if it's true that this oil can help lighten/remove scars. My babies just had some skin blemishes from an infection last month, so I was hoping these scars will fade with this oil. Well, here's a picture of the product:

Review | Saizen Charcoal Face Mask/ Charcoal Natural Pack (Daiso Japan)

Hi!
Finally I'm back to blogging!
My first review post of the year is this charcoal mask.

For reference, my skin type is normal-dry.

This was bought by E from Saizen Robinson's Place Tacloban for only Php88.00.

What does it claim to do? Obviously it promises to remove skin issues like black and white heads.

Results for me....

This is actually the first time that I used a charcoal face mask. I think this product DOES remove whiteheads and even blackheads. But I did notice that my face becomes a bit red when I peel off the mask. My mom actually complained that it stings on her face so she doesn't like it. For me it's not that painful. I suppose it's because of the very small hair on the face "peach fuzz" can also be removed when you use this product. (A tip for sensitive skin people is that they should remove this type of mask from top to bottom. If you have a normal-dry skin type it's okay to remove it bottom-up.  Honestly, I don't exactly know why. I've just read that somewhere. Hehehe.)

Overall rating: 3/5

Why? Well, it does work but I think I don't like the consistency of the product. I do like the fact that it does not have a scent, or whatsoever. But I did not like that it makes me a look a little red after using it. Aside from that, it does not dry within 10-15 minutes as it's stated on the bottle. It took me 20 minutes sometimes longer than that if I put on a thick layer! Overall, I still think this is a good product. For 88 pesos it delivers what it claims naman. :-)

Will you repurchase and recommend this product?
Hmmm I don't know if I'll be able to repurchase this anytime soon. I'm no longer staying in Tacloban City. In my current place, there's no Saizen/Daiso around so probably not at the moment. For those who DO NOT HAVE a sensitive skin and has a huge problem with whiteheads and/or blackheads, I recommend you try this out.

(BTW, I still have a lot of product left in the tube even though this was purchased over a year ago. I think I only used this for about 5 times or so. Hehe, so yeah. I only use this if I have really stubborn spots on my face, and I have to wear makeup on the following day.)

This is NOT a sponsored post.
This product is from my BF's sister, E.

Thanks for reading! :-)

First Impression Review | Bath & Body Blends Fresh Gojiberry & Plum

What:
A hand sanitizer.

Quite small but handy.
Price:
Php 75.00 (50 mL)

Product of/ Manufacturer:
Red Logo Lifestyle, Inc.

Taken from Red Logo's December 2012 Magalogue.

Where did you get this/ where to get:
I got this from my bfhubby.
But you can get this from your local Red Logo dealer (PH residents) or online here.

Directions:
Pour into hands and briskly rub them together till dry (duh, XD).

Ingredients:
Water (aqua), Alcohol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Fragrance, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Extract, Lactose, Cellulose, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Jojoba Esters, Tocopheryl Acetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Triclosan, CI 77007.

Q1: How do you find this product?
A nice product, I must say. First, I love how it feels good on my hands. It has alove vera and glycerin which is what probably makes this thing moisturizing :) If you know me, I love products with aloe! I don't know what's with aloe, but my skin just loves it... Secondly, I REALLY love it's scent! It reminds me of those little lychee flavored jellies sold here at PH. Sweet but light enough, so that it doesn't put you off every time you put this on your hands :)

If you can see that blue bead amidst the clear liquidy gel...that's probably Triclosan :D

Clear gel. Never mind my ugly hand :p

Q2: How will you rate this product?
3 stars out of 5

Hmm, why 3 out of 5 you ask? Well, as much as I adore it's scent and moisturizing effect... I am honestly put off with some of it's ingredients. Namely, (1) Triclosan, "Fragrance," etc. I don't know know about you, but lately I have heard/read some articles citing some concerns about these two ingredients... I can't remember all the link(s) to these articles, but of course..you can do your own research if you're curious.

Q3: Will you repurchase this product?
Hmm, I'm not sure. Maybe. Technically, I didn't purchase this so... :D

Q4: To whom will you recommend this product?
To all other girls (or guys) out there who likes aloe and/or lychee scented products.

Review | Human Heart Nature's 100% Natural Deodorant

*Overdue post. >.< Sorry.
This is NOT a sponsored post.

I finally decided to write a review about these deodorants. Honestly, it took me a while before I posted this. I was a bit demotivated for the past days. I took these pics in mid July, but I was able to put some tags/watermarks/tweak these pics on late July. Unmotivated people highly procrastinate, I tell you >.<
<end of nonsense> Haha.

This is a review of the two variants: Aloe Fresh and Pink Blossom scents

Let's get into the review proper.

First Impression Review | Celeteque DermoScience HYDRATION Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash

Hi! Finally here is my review of Celeteque DermoScience HYDRATION Gentle Exfoliating Facial Wash.
This is my first time reviewing a skincare product so please bear with me.
I got this last July 5, 2012 (see here for price and where to buy).

Wondering why this facial wash is colored yellow? It's probably because of the mixture of Vitamin C and Vitamin E... <?>
