It's me again! This time I'll be reviewing this face mask from Daiso (or Saizen here in PH). I am sure most of you (if not all) know what Daiso is. But just in case you don't know what it is, well it's a variety store that sells mostly cute, quirky and reasonably-priced stuff if not totally cheap! Here, most items are priced from Php85.00 - Php88.00. If you want to know more about Daiso just click here.
Each pack has two individually-packed face mask sheets for Php88.00 |
Now, onto my experience and thoughts about this product.
This is a typical moisture-filled mask as stated on it's packaging. When I took it out of it's pack, it wasn't dripping so I guess it's a good thing. LOL.
I've let this sit on my face for 15 minutes max. It says 5-15 minutes but I really felt like extending it up to 30 mins! LOL. DON'T DO THAT of course, because if you do this the mask will reabsorb the moisture from your skin. Reverse osmosis, right?
Anyway, here's my goofy face with the sheet mask on.
Please DON'T laugh! :p |
Okay, as you can see from the above pic, this mask is a bit big for my face.
I also find that the pack still has some essence after taking out the mask itself, so I just use the remaining essence for my neck, hands, etc.
To be honest, I don't usually use face mask regularly. It's not that popular in my area and also these types of masks are not easy to find. Of course you can buy these online.
Now, for my overall rating: 4/5
Let me explain why.
It's very moisturizing but it kind of felt like I'm putting some kind of light slime or mucous on my skin. Does this makes sense? Hehe, I guess that's because of the Hyaluronic acid in it, right? It doesn't really feel that sticky but if you're not used to that feeling, you will not enjoy this.
The next day, or following morning ('cos I use masks before bedtime), I felt that my skin is well moisturized or smooth to touch but still has that slight stickiness so I definitely have to wash my face after getting up.

Do you recommend this?
Yes, I recommend this to those who have normal to dry skin, but of course (and as always) do a skin test first before trying this out.
Thanks for stopping by! :)
